AKT was founded by West End performers Ed Currie and Andy Coxon, who created their sustainable, high-performance deodorant balm after struggling to find a product that lasted through eight, sweat-inducing shows a week. Developed over three years in their Camden kitchen, the plastic-free, gender-neutral brand launched in 2020 and quickly became a cult favorite.
